The Emergency Management Regional Coordinator is primarily an in-person job based out of Temple and assists ECEM management and facility staff with coordination, planning, trainings, and
process improvements related to emergency management to comply with federal, state, local
and Joint Commission (JC) regulations. Assists with specific needs identified by Hospital
leadership and /or ECEM departmental leaders. Responsible for the day to day operational
needs of the Emergency Management office to include inventory reports, scheduling of
training classes, monthly stakeholder meetings (internal and external) and supporting the
division wide exercise program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
·Coordinates and assists with emergency management activities within the Baylor Scott &
White Health organizational structure.
·Assists with emergency management activities at all
BSWH division specific facilities.
·Coordinates with the Division Emergency Manager, ECEM regional managers and
coordinators, and facility staff to ensure emergency management plans are maintained and/or
updated.
·Participates in the development and annual maintenance of facilities written disaster
plans and procedures to ensure an effective multi-hazard disaster response. This includes but
is not limited to review of facilities hazard vulnerability analysis (HVA), surge planning,
