Under thesupervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Clinical Dietitian hasresponsibilities for the medical nutrition therapy of inpatients in aspecialized area like Cardiology, Med/Surgery, GI, Renal, Organ Transplant, Liver Disease, Neurology, Head/Neck, Oncology, Critical Care, ED, andoverflow.   

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Assessment, documentation, implementation, monitoring and reassessment of the care plan
• Patient education; referral for further care at discharge from UCLA health network.  
• NFPE and malnutrition.   
• Communicates with and works as a team member, interacting with dietetic technicians, food service personnel, nurses, physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members.
• Participates in departmental activities, including performance improvement.  Attends meetings and rounds. 
• This role does not cover the same units daily, instead, it covers the units that need coverage.

Salaryrange: $38.96- $51.39 Hourly
