The BJC Central Staffing Office is looking for an Assistant Program Manager to help lead this growing team. This role will have responsibilities for scheduling, onboarding new employees, 1:1 employee discussions, just in time staffing and more. Time management and organizational skills are critical for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Charge RN or RN leader in Med/Surge/Tele field.
Current RN license highly preferred.
Shift:
Monday - Friday: 4 days 10 hour shifts
General every 5th Weekend rotation
and Holiday rotation divided among team

Role Purpose
Oversees the daily clinical operations for BJC?s Central Staffing office. Upholds the importance of delivering standardized and reliable care for the clients in our community. Implements processes and programs with staffing offices to ensure clinical staffing is optimized across the system; collaborates closely with the Program Manager for the Central Staffing Office and the BJC Transfer Center to ensure adequate staff to meet capacity demands; and operationalizing a system-wide clinical float pool to support staffing needs, improve workforce retention and decrease agency costs. Is flexible and meets the ever-changing demands of healthcare. Must be forward thinking and able to change course quickly as system needs arise.
