·         Excellent verbal and written skills

·  Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences, including physicians, physician office staffs, etc.

Required:

·         Minimum of one year of management experience

·         Knowledge of medical terminology claims payment, provider contract negotiations, and problem resolution. 

·         A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or another related field is preferred.

Preferred:

·         A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or another related field is preferred.

·         Minimum two years of working knowledge or experience in the provider relations field with a managed care organization, IPA, or HMO.
