The Per Diem Research (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients and provides care to these patients via the nursing process and other input from healthcare team members. In this role, you will support the objectives of the Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC), serving as a research coordinator and assuming oversight of clinical study operations. Under direct supervision of the Unit Director and Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for the direct nursing care of patients utilizing the nursing process; development and application of leadership, management, and communication concepts; teaching of patients and staff; maintenance of professional standards.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 1-2 years of clinical research experience required.
- Active California Registered Nursing License or CA RPN.
- Comply with HIPAA and Confidentiality Policies and Procedures as they apply to the job.
- Comply with Department of Public Health (DPH), The Joint Commission and other accreditation and regulatory agencies standards
- Adhere to all Hospital Policies and Procedures.
- Knowledge and adherence to Infection Control and Environment of Care Guidelines and Procedures as described in the annual education module.
- Completes Human Subject training, HIPPA, GCP.
- Takes Blood Bourne Pathogens classes.
- Certified to administer Chemotherapy.
