Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Payroll Associate Analyst, Time Operation

We are seeking a Payroll Associate Analyst, Time Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate timely capture and reporting of hours worked and paid absences in the Time & Attendance system and Workday Absence for 22,000+ employees. You will provide timekeeping support to MSK employees and business partners. You will resolve issues related to the capture, authorization and reporting of time worked and absences in a manner that consistently complies with federal and State labor laws.

You will:

• Address tasks for MSK Time and Workday Absence, including reporting, security access, and assistance requests efficiently.
• Provide guidance and support for Time & Attendance and Workday via email and the Service Now case management platform.
• Track overpayments, manage escalated Time & Attendance issues, and process retroactive time card corrections.
• Write training guides and procedures, prepare audit documentation, and maintain current knowledge of labor laws and MSK policies.
• Assist with cross-functional payroll and finance tasks, and process Workday earnings adjustments as requested.

Key Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience with Payroll, Time and Attendance Systems
• Time & Attendance Systems Experience (Symplyr Time & Attendance, a plus)
• Experience with a case management platform (Service Now, a plus)
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word

Core Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy, data integrity and compliance
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Effective time management and organization skills

Additional Information:

• Location: 633 Third Avenue, NYC
• Schedule: Hybrid, requires flexibility to be onsite multiple days per week or as needed

Pay Range: $66,500.00-$103,100.00
