Required:

Bachelor's degree infinance or related field, or equivalent experience.

High School Diploma

8 + years of research experience

1-3 years of complex researchadministration.

Ability to establish and maintaincooperative and effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty,external collaborators, and administration.

Ability to work as a member of theteam.

Advanced ability to set priorities andcomplete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines with frequent interruptions tomeet programmatic and financial needs.

Meticulous attention to detail in afast-paced, fluctuating, workload environment.

Demonstrated proficiency with Adobeand Microsoft suite software, especially Excel.

Experience will all types of awardmechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperativeagreements.

Ability to interpret policy forothers.

Advance knowledge of effective grantfunding processes, procedures, and techniques

Interpersonal skillsto effectively communicate information in a timely, professional manner.

Exceptionalorganizational skills to create and maintain administrative and financial fileseffectively

Strong organizational skills, abilityto prioritize job functions and handle multiple tasks with multiple proposalsubmission systems.

Experience preparing, managing, andprojecting budgets.

Mathematical skillsfor the preparation of complex calculations and forecasts and to identify andresolve complicated financial scenarios.

In-depth knowledgeof and experience working with a variety of external sponsors, federal andstate sponsors, private foundations, industry sponsors, etc.

In-depth knowledgeof various research administration policies and procedures, and contract andgrant funding agency guidelines.
