The Department of Psychology at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Human Neuroscience to begin in July 2025. For the Human Neuroscience position, we are seeking a neuroscientist who focuses on one of two central departmental research themes: 1) Self-Regulation (e.g., emotion regulation, self-control) or 2) Assessment and/or Quantitative Methods (e.g., neuropsychological assessment, dynamical systems, computational neuroscience).

The strongest candidates will be very strong in one of the themes rather than less strong in both themes. Applicants should indicate which theme they focus on in the cover letter. The successful candidate will be able to teach and mentor students in Physiological Psychology as well as in their specific expertise. The successful candidate will also be able to supervise undergraduate research assistants and honors students as well as master’s students in their area of expertise.
