Under the general direction of the Department Chair, ChiefAdministrative Office (CAO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other Departmentleaders and in concert with other research administrative staff, the SeniorResearch Administrator will be responsible for all pre-award and post-award administration forintra/extramurally funded research awards for Departmental PrincipalInvestigators (PIs).
Salaryoffers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to,qualifications, experience, and equity. The full annual salary range for thisposition is $68,800.00 - $141,000.00. Please note that the department's targetannual pay range is $83,800 - $131,600.00.
Required:
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicateinformation in a timely, professional manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperativeand effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to set priorities and complete ongoingtasks with competing deadlines, with frequent interruptions, to meetprogrammatic and financial needs.
- Close attention to detail in a fast-paced,fluctuating workload environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe andMicrosoft suite software, especially Excel.
- Strong writing skills in a variety of styles todraft persuasive text for a variety of audiences while ensuring adherence tofunding sponsor's guidelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective grantfunding processes, procedures and techniques
- Ability to perform complex financial analysisand customized reporting.
Preferred:
- Strong organization skills, ability toprioritize job functions, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously withmultiple proposal submission systems.
- Mathematical skills for the preparation ofcomplex calculations and forecasts and to identify and resolve complicatedfinancial scenarios.
