Summary:

The Social Media Specialist & Videographer is responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies, creating engaging content, and producing high-quality videos across multiple platforms. All while ensuring brand voice, visuals, and messaging are consistent across all social media content and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter). Research industry trends, consumer behaviors, emerging platforms, and tools to enhance social media presence.

1. Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit compelling video content tailored to each platform's best practices. Manage end-to-end video production process from creative ideation to planning, filming, and post-production. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external production partners on video projects
2. Continuously optimize content strategy based on data-driven insights to maximize engagement and reach. Monitor social media performance metrics and identify top-performing content types, formats, and trends. Analyze audience data and leverage insights to develop targeted content that resonates with key demographics
3. Create and manage detailed content calendars for organic and paid social media campaigns aligned with strategic goals.
4. Ensure brand voice, visuals, and messaging are consistent across all social media content and campaigns
5. Monitor and engage with online communities, responding promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
6. Performs other duties as assigned and/or requested.

The idea candidate for this position will have:

- 3+ years of experience creating social content calendars end-to-end (creating the strategy based on analytics, target audience, and overall organizational strategy and has created the actual content themselves).

- 2+ years of Experience creating, filming and editing high quality video for social media as well as for other channels.

- Experience working with internal and external teams

- Worked on several brands/different organizations that have had a variety of communication needs.

Education:
Essential:
* BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Other information:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and video production
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
• Experience with various cameras and filming equipment
