SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides chairside, four-handed dental assistance to Dentists in all aspects of dental care, including hands-on patient care, instrument preparation, ordering and stocking supplies, taking x-rays, charting and documentation, and cleaning and sterilization of dental equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required. 
• Successful completion of a dental assistant training program required. 
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working at a dental practice required. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• EFDA (Expanded Functional Dental Assistant) license, including radiation license preferred. 
• Current CPR certification preferred.
