The role you’ll contribute:
The Telemetry Tech responsibilities include but are not limited to; monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and follow chain of command for reporting any abnormalities.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Accurately interprets rhythm, rate, and morphology of strips. ·Enters patient data into cardiac monitoring system, assures location of patient and monitor coincide. ·Prepares and maintains patient record from admission to discharge through documentation of rhythm strips at predetermined intervals and with each change in rhythm. ·Communicates changes in cardiac rhythm, rate, or morphology promptly to the primary care nurse and/or charge nurse. ·Recognizes need for and initiates Rapid Response / Code Blue timely and accurately.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·High School diploma or equivalent upon hire ·Completion of Telemetry Education/Competency within 30 days of hire date
