The role you’ll contribute:
The Laboratory Technical Supervisor (Blood Bank) performs laboratory testing in accordance with the Division of Clinical Laboratory Standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 64B3-13.003. Ensures compliance of all regulatory requirements and quality measures. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Blood Bank/Transfusion Services section and assists the department manager and director with leadership duties as assigned. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

·Ability to perform and oversee laboratory testing/procedures under assigned departmental specialties. ·Ability to ensure regulatory requirements are met and maintain inspection readiness at all times. ·Ability and willingness to work independently. ·Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules. ·Ability and willingness to recommend changes and assist in making changes to improve operations and quality. ·Ensure staff competencies for new and existing laboratory testing procedures are maintained and meet regulatory requirements. ·Ensure departmental staff are highly engaged and working as an effective team.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Bachelors 5 years experience. ·Master's Degree. ·5 Years Laboratory experience, including 2 years in the assigned departmental specialty(ies). ·Medical Lab Technologist. ·Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
