Our Primary Care Physicians are pivotal in providing crucial care for our Veterans. When necessary, the VA must procure the services of non-VA providers to ensure accessibility and timeliness of care. The Greater Los Angeles VA has a rare opportunity to transition from Fee-Based to full-time permanent employment, with our newest clinic coming on board in Spring 2025. As fee basis providers, their responsibilities include providing comprehensive care from screening for mental health concerns such as PTSD, depression, and military sexual assault trauma to substance use/abuse.
