Radiology Aide
The Radiology Aide is responsible for transporting CT patients in a safe and efficient manner. This position helps to facilitate patient flow by preparing the patients for their procedures. In addition, the Radiology Aide delivers patient charts, specimens, supplies and equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Transports patients primarily to CT within the Radiology Department. Handles and delivers specimens to the lab. Assists Radiology Tech with positioning patients according to radiologists' protocols. Properly identifies patients using 2 hospital-wide patient safety identifiers. Assists patients with instructions for changing, drinking oral contrast, and positioning.
