The role you’ll contribute:

This positions assumes an individual has some cook/baker experience.  Individual maintains the responsibility for the cooking and/or baking of all hot foods including entrees, vegetables, starches and desserts for the department including patient tray line and cafeteria.  This task should be done in such a manner to ensure the highest quality of product.

 The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assures that all foods are cooked to the state of being done and holds foods in safe zones,
• Cleans and sanitizes all work environments,
• Cooks and bakes all hot foods for patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery,
• Modifies any food to meet various diets as required,
• Sets up food for cafeteria server,
• Sets up food for patient tray line,
• Serves on patient tray line and/or cafeteria server as directed,
• Assists in the ordering of food stock as appropriate

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of two (2) year cook/baker experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
