Job Summary: Responsible for all strategic and operational planning, day-to-day operations, internal/external relationship management, fiscal and personnel matters for Supply Chain functions that include receiving, warehousing, materials distribution, equipment management, house inventory management, case cart inventory management, Surgical/Procedural inventory management and tissue tracking, provider-based clinic supply chain management and mailroom for a multi-site regional hospital market.

1. Serves as liaison between facilities and shared service department including warehousing, purchasing, accounts payable, customer service, internal control and patient accounting.
2. Evaluates KPI's and metrics to identify areas within organization to gain operational efficiencies, improve level of service and reduce expense.
3. Provides key operational and strategic input to hospital executives and enterprise senior leadership in annual budget and capital project planning process.
4. Analyzes supply expense monthly operational report and provide detailed explanation including volume and rate variances for year-over-year and budget. Presents to enterprise senior leadership and hospital CFO.
5. Responsible for long-range strategic planning and short-term department goal setting.
6. Directs supply chain management and staff to ensure that all areas of the hospital are fully supplied and supported at all times.
7. Leads supply expense variance analyses. Proactively identifies cost drivers and leads projects to reduce costs with support of senior leaders.
8. Responsible for the coordination, organization and delegation of the departmental operational aspects to ensure effective service delivery.
9. Maintains effective internal and external relationships while driving operational efficiencies and cost savings.
10. Ensures departmental policies and procedures establishment and implementation. Consistently administers hospital policies and procedures.
11. Responsible for providing opportunities for manager, supervisor and staff development.
12. Develops and monitors appropriate operational performance measures.
13. Reviews department operational systems and implements plans to ensure continued improvement.
14. Implements and monitor appropriate staffing levels to ensure efficient services delivery.
15. Responsible for all department fiscal matters
16. Participates in meeting the goals and department objectives to ensure that the department contributes to hospital goal and objective attainment.
17. Participates in planning and implementing change and maintaining and improving productivity through attendance and participation in staff meetings, committees, task forces, projects and discussions with manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Five (5) years’ experience in a supply chain setting.
2. Three (3) years of progressive management experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Master’s degree in Business or related field.
2. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Certification.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Five (5) years’ experience in a healthcare supply chain setting supporting multiple facility operations.
