Surgery Scheduler-Hematology oncology
This position is responsible for: Coordinates with internal and external operating rooms, ASC, etc to ensure the patients are appropriately scheduled for surgeries and/or outpatient procedures. Essential Functions: Coordinates the clinic and surgery schedules for the providers to ensure there are no conflicts Coordinates surgery schedule with internal and external operating rooms Submits surgical clearances for the purpose of patient scheduling into the OR Submits all information to the pre-certification team to ensure the insurance will cover the surgical costs Acts as the family's liaison between the surgical centers and provider staff to ensure all education, authorizations and post op appointme
