Nursing Aide-Training
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: Under direct supervision of a registered nurse, a Nursing Aide-Training participates in a clinical practicum designed to provide students enrolled in a nursing program toward a license as a Registered Nurse with experience in performing patient care duties and other related functions. This is a temporary appointment only for the duration of the training period.EXAMPLES OF WORK: (Illustrative Only)Receives training under the supervision of a registered nurse in the following: Clinical:Delivers patient care to assigned patients; Carries out other assigned nursing duties;Observes and reports changes in patient's condition to the nurse;Records the results of routine patient monitoring on appropriate hospital forms; Communicates patient care
