SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Patient Access Supervisor, register is responsible for registering inpatients, outpatients, and emergency services patients by recording medical, demographic, and financial information. Helps department maintain minimum staffing requirements by filling in departments that require registration functions, daily assignment will flex. Generate and collect estimated patient financial responsibility based on services being rendered. Validate bedded patients demographic and insurance selection based on a subset of criteria and factors.
