We are seeking a Floor Tech to assist with general maintenance needs

Position Summary

Our Floor Tech should have working knowledge of:

·        Painting and Drywall:   Repairs, paints, walls and door jambs

·         Plumbing: Assists in caulking and unstopping toilets, shower and walls.   Repairs faucets, drains on sinks, tubs, commodes, shower valves, water leaks, and sewer line

·         Electrical:  Assists replacing lights, filters and ceiling tiles

·         Completion of assigned work area and preventative maintenance documentation

·         Mandatory rotating On Call

·         Assists in hospital fire drills

·         Observe and test operations of function of fire smoke doors and associated hardware and repairs

·         Assists with moving furniture

·         Repairs doors and door hardware

·         Assists with keeping all work areas clean and organized

·         Effectively adjusts schedule as required to perform urgent assignments or special projects

Position Requirements:

A.      Education:

         High School diploma/Equivalent

B.      Experience:

        1 year experience Hospital or Building maintenance preferred.
