LOCATION: Requires travel in both Nassau and Suffolk counties

HOURS: 7:00am - 4:00pm; Monday - Friday with alternating Saturdays

FULL TIME: benefits eligible

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service

• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages

• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens

• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering

• Work closely with Phlebotomy management to oversee the daily activities of the territory

• Assist with training new hires

• Provide backup coverage to the Phlebotomy Supervisor

• Assist with monthly reports

• Address errors, redraws and QA with Phlebotomists and conduct retraining as necessary

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous phlebotomy experience, minimum 1 year

• Previous team lead experience, a plus

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to analyze, solve problems and make evaluative judgments

• Strong computer and data entry skills, including knowledge of Excel

Salary Range: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour (depending on experience). Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
