We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our Cancer Center in Maple Grove and Wyoming, Minnesota. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a comprehensive, patient-centered team within a renowned health system
Practice Highlights:
- The primary practice site will be located at MHealth Fairview Maple Grove Cancer Center, an expanding multi-specialty clinic and comprehensive cancer center which includes medical oncology, an infusion center, and onsite medical physics and dosimetry service. This physician may also provide occasional coverage at our M Health Radiation Therapy center in Wyoming, MN, which also offers comprehensive cancer care services.
- Work alongside a highly skilled and established team of radiation oncologists and medical oncologists.
- Collaborate closely with University of Minnesota Radiation Oncology faculty to deliver seamless patient care and engage in professional development opportunities.
- Medical resident teaching opportunities as residents rotate to regional clinic sites throughout their training.
- You'll have access to substantial resources including state-of-the-art facilities, and collaboration with investigators at the University of Minnesota Medical School and the Masonic Cancer Center (http://www.cancer.umn.edu), an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
About the Department:
- The University of Minnesota Department of Radiation Oncology is home to clinical and basic science faculty involved in research, undergraduate and graduate medical education. The department has an ACGME accredited medical residency program and a CAMPEP accredited medical physics residency program. For more information visit https://med.umn.edu/radiationoncology.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Radiation Oncology residency training program and a MD or DO degree.
- Board eligible/certified with the American Board of Radiation Oncology Board.
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
