ScionHealth is recruiting for an Order Processor to join our Purchasing team! This position will be remote.
Job Summary
The Order Processor processes purchase requisitions for various lines of business and acts as field resource contract information, product sourcing, product specifications, and purchase order follow-up.
Essential Functions
Advises facilities regarding purchasing policies, procedures and contract standards.
Reviews Purchase Requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
Enters Purchase Requisition informationinto SAP to generate a Purchase Order.
Maintains and updates files and resource lists.
Distributes Purchase Order paperwork.
Contacts facilities and vendors to resolve/reconcile outstanding issues, including generation of quotation, purchase transaction, expediting, resolution of outstanding payment issues and conversion strategies relative to submitted field request versus contract standard.
Performs other functions as required.
Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
2 years of related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures.
Ability to type 55 WPM accurately.
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
