As a Clinical/Staff pharmacists you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact as an integral part of our hospital pharmacy team. We are looking for the right individual who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do! In this role:
You will interact with patients, their significant others, and health care team members while maintaining professional standards in serving patients of all ages.
You will provide prescribed medications, drugs (including chemotherapy) and other supplies as needed for appropriate patient care according to professional standards and practices.
You will transcribe physician prescriptions and medications orders into the EHR system to generate a label for medication distribution
You will act as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel.
You will display ownership and accountability by treating patients, their caregivers, and co-workers with care and respect
You will partake in teamwork by working cooperatively with team members and demonstrate flexibility by readily adapting to the scheduling needs of the department which may include the occasional technician shift
You will become proficient in understanding Omnicell, our automated dispensing system, and take initiative to help solve challenges associated with its use
You will assist in the orientation and development of new staff/students in cooperation with the staff development coordinator or supervisor
You will strive to aid the pharmacy in reaching the goals and objectives assigned to it by upper management
You will conduct lectures and in-services for physicians and other hospital personnel as requested in an organized manner to meet the needs of the audience.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school of Pharmacy
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the State of Idaho
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience and a strong clinical background
Oncology experience
Possess an interest to work in an enhanced role where the individual will be part of operational and clinical decision-making
Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency is preferred
