Overview:
40 hrs/wk; 8:30a-5p, 5 days/wk, M-F. Provides scheduling services for patients and communicates via in person or phone. Obtains appropriate CPT code(s) to acquire prior authorizations for testing and surgeries with multiple insurance companies. Oversees the provider schedules for appropriate scheduling blocks and identifies any concerns or conflicts. Effective use of communication and collaboration with patients, providers, clinic and OR staff. Assist as needed with Clinic Receptionist duties and assignments as delegated by the practice manager. High school graduate or GED is required. Post high school secretarial and/or business training preferred. Past medical office experience preferred.
