Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will perform venipunctures professionally and with skill at various sites and explain to patient the procedure
• You will ensure draws are collected in a timely manner and check all workload pending lists periodically for specimen accountability
• You will accurately label patient samples following hospital policy

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (MA-P) OR current Medical AssistantCertified (MA-C)
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
