Position Summary

The IT Clinical Optimization Analyst I facilitates, communicates, and coordinates the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of various clinical systems in a healthcare environment. Serving as a supporting resource, this role establishes and fosters connections with end users to ensure effective utilization of the clinical systems. The position contributes to assessing and refining workflow processes, proactive rounding within departments, shadowing end users, providing elbow support, and attending orientations to assist with new hire setup.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
• Bachelors Degree in a Health Care field, or equivalent combination of post-secondary education or experience. (Required)

Experience

• Two (2) years of clinical or clinical IT experience working in a health care setting. (Required)
• One (1) year of experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. (Required)
• Experience with creating and implementing workflows in a clinical setting. (Preferred)

Special Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). (Required)
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Comfortable training and/or presenting content in meetings with moderate to large audiences. (Required)
• Self-driven and able to work autonomously when needed. Demonstrates timeliness and is able to meet deadlines and stay organized. (Required)
• Able to work nights and/or weekends as needed. (Required)
• Ability to translate clinical and operational business requests into technical requirements for the use by technical staff. (Preferred)
