The individual will independently provide support to the bioanalytical laboratory and facilitate the successful conduct of studies.
Essential Job Duties:

* Displays good working knowledge of routine use and maintenance of equipment relevant to area
* Prepares reagents, buffers, and other study related solutions as needed.
* Provides general lab cleaning, expired reagent monitoring, and glassware washing.
* Manages the inventory, ordering, E-Workbook registration, storage, organization, and disposal of laboratory supplies. These may include critical reagents, chemicals, consumables, and matrix.
* Performs test article / reference material weighing's, if appropriate.
* Performs freezer and refrigerator maintenance, oversees organization.
* Maintains water systems, performs readings, or sends samples out for testing.
* Provides ideas, supports, and participates in process improvement initiatives.
* Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment. Demonstrates understanding of Health and Safety compliance by ensuring that policies/SOPs and training are up to date.
* May train or assist less experienced staff.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum Required:
* 1-2 years of laboratory experience or Associate Degree in related field.
Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses
Recommended:
* High School diploma / educated to A-level or equivalent plus 1-2 years of laboratory experience or Associate Degree in related field
Pay Range: $22.00
