The role you’ll contribute:

Supports the Foundation Director in development, grants and administrative functions of the foundation. This position requires strong customer service skills and is responsible for development support, grants data management, communications, bookkeeping and various administrative tasks. A value and passion for working with community leaders. Foundation Coordinator works under the direction of the Foundation Director.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Development

·         Manage donor information in the organization’s Blackbaud database

·         Manage donor mailing lists

·         Timely acknowledgement of gifts made to the organization

 

Grant Making

·         Maintain grant records and files

·         Track grant inquiries, proposals and reports

Program Support/Communications

·         Undertake projects as assigned

·         Update the website and social media content in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team

 

Administrative

·         Compile and prepare Board of Directors meeting materials

·         Assist with Board/committee meetings, retreats, etc.

 

Bookkeeping

·         Ensure timely payment of all invoices

·         Prepare deposits of receivables

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum qualifications:

o    Proficiency in Blackbaud database management and Microsoft Outlook

o    Experience with online and social media communication

o    Proficiency in organizing events with over 200 attendees

o    High School Diploma

o    Familiar with donor, grants, database management and bookkeeping

o    Experience working in WNC Community

o    Familiar with leadership programs, operations and volunteer management
