Pay rates range from $90.00- $105.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Responsibilities for Mental Health Director:
Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients
Evaluate patients in a variety of settings
Perform and document mental health evaluations
Facilitate patient treatment to include admission and discharge from the mental health unit, housing change requests, seclusion, suicide precautions, close observation, and observation level changes
DSM-V
Coach and collaborate with site mental health clinical staff
Ensure all mental health clinicians are educated
Work cooperatively with all psychiatric providers
Assist with recruiting efforts for mental health staff
Qualifications for Mental Health Director:
Clinical Psychologist with a current, unrestricted license in CA
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a mental health care setting
Minimum of 2 years experience in management and correctional healthcare preferred
Knowledge and experience in the identification and treatment of mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders, discharge planning, principles of social work, basic principles of individual and group behavior, suicide risk assessment, crisis de-escalation techniques
Valid CPR card
