Dartmouth Health’s Department of Radiology is seeking an Abdominal Imaging Radiologist to join our practice in the beautiful Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the system’s central clinical hub and Academic Medical Center, is located immediately adjacent to bustling college town of Hanover, NH. Hanover is home to the world-renowned Dartmouth College and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.

Position Summary
Dartmouth Health is seeking a fellowship-trained abdominal/body Imager to join the abdominal imaging division at the level of an Assistant, Associate, or (Full) Professor, depending on the level of experience. All candidates who have an interest in teaching and being in an academic environment, including candidates with little direct personal academic experience, are welcomed to apply. The ideal candidate will have a record of aspiring towards clinical excellence.
The candidate being sought will participate in the delivery of outpatient and inpatient body imaging services, including. CT, MR, Radiography, US, and fluoroscopy. Dartmouth Health provides the full gamut of body imaging services including advanced body MR imaging including prostate MR, hepatobiliary imaging, and specialized oncologic imaging.
Dartmouth Radiology hosts multiple outstanding residencies, including in Diagnostic Radiology and an integrated DR/IR program. The Department is a national leader in the science of teaching radiology to medical students. All faculty participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. There is a strong desire to continue to expand our educational offerings.
The Department values patient-centered care and a highly collaborative, respectful, caring, and engaging work environment. There is a strong working relationship with other Departments and the body imaging section specifically works closely with Internal Medicine and Surgery partners, including during weekly multidisciplinary meetings.

The selected candidate will join Dartmouth Health’s 60 radiologists. We are an internationally-known Department with a deep history in the field, beginning with acquiring the first clinically x-ray in the United States in 1896. While Dartmouth Health includes many hospitals and clinic sites, this position is based at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, our tertiary care central hub which also serves as the system’s Academic Medical Center. DHMC is the state’s only Level 1 trauma center, a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and is home to a fleet of helicopter and ground-based medical transport services.
