This position is assigned to the sorting or finish area of the consolidated Medical Center Laundry at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center (MGAMC) located in Spokane, Washington. Adjusting deliveries to meet the changing needs of the using units, weighing and maintaining daily records in pounds the linen requirements for each using unit for cost accounting purposes. Utilizing proper technique in distributing and picking up linen to prevent cross contamination. Providing required sanitation of linen carts and work areas, working with authorized disinfectants for sanitation purposes.
