The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Dietitian and Office Administrative Assistance, the Host/Hostess is responsible for patient meals service throughout the day and maintaining cleanliness of the Nursing Unit refrigerators, deliver nourishment and rotate supplies, removing any items that are out of date, wipe up any spills that are notice in the refrigerators(clean unit refrigerator each quarter). Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions basic computer skill required
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Host/Hostess will deliver patient meal carts to floor and serve patient meals to patient.
Assists with the preparation of salad, dessert and beverage for patient meals.
Assists with the preparation of patient late trays and deliver tray to patient.
Delivers any new patient menu to the patient for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals assists patient with filling out menu if need and return menus back to kitchen.
Prepare nourishment baskets.
Wrap silverware for all meals as needed after it has been washed.
Deliver nourishment to Nursing Unit kitchen, ensuring that supplies are rotated, removing any out of date items.
Conduct patient meal survey daily.( No less than 5 per day return survey to Office Assistance/Supervisor take corrective action right away on any survey requiring attention.)

Some customer service experience required.
