The Division of Allergy and Immunology, Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is seeking board eligible/board certified Allergists for our community and academic practices in the following regions:
Community-based practices:
Staten Island/Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
Rockville Centre, NY
Woodbury, NY
Academic Practices:
Williamsburg/Bensonhurst, Brooklyn
Great Neck, NY
The Division of Allergy and Immunology
The Division of Allergy and Immunology has a very large population of children and adults with a wide variety of allergic and immunologic diseases. The Division has a national reputation in immunologic diseases, and food allergy, in addition to expertise in drug allergy, pediatric and adult asthma, and well as most other allergic diseases. The Division faculty includes 10 faculty members, 5 nurses, 3 PAs and other and other staff. All of our faculty is involved in clinical care, research, clinical trials, as well as teaching/education of fellows, residents, and students. Future faculty would be an integral part of this thriving Division with access to all the resources of the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center, and the Northwell Health System. For the community based allergist position, the faculty member would have close access to the main Division, and the ability to participate in clinical, and teaching activities dependent on the individual’s interests.
