Summary:
Skagit Regional Health invites passionate Certified Nurse Midwives to join and contribute to the growth of our newly established Midwifery program in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights:
Become part of a collaborative practice alongside 2 experienced CNMs and 2 Women’s Health ARNPs. Our vision is to expand this team to include at least 6 CNMs.
Collaborate with our 6 employed OBGYN providers, conveniently located adjacent to the Midwifery clinic.
1:4 call is shared equally among the group.
Engage in a full-spectrum role, providing care to both OB and GYN patients in the clinic and performing deliveries at Skagit Valley Hospital conveniently situated across from the clinic.
Our Family Birth Center boasts 21 LDRP rooms and 2 ORs on the unit with dedicated Anesthesia support. Additionally, our Level II Special Care Nursery is supported by onsite Pediatric Hospitalist.
Benefit from the assurance of having onsite OB Hospitalists available to provide support whenever required.
32 scheduled patient contact hour work expectation.
This is a hospital employed position with access to a large, existing in house specialty care referral base.
Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license.
2-3 years of recent full scope midwifery experience is highly preferred.
First assist experience is preferred.
