Shift:  Wednesdays - Sundays 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Location: 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210

The role you’ll contribute: 

Operates switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls. Monitors and initiates protocols for life safety alarms. Follows pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Applies knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures within the hospital.

The value you’ll bring to the team: 

• Demonstrates the appropriate greeting when answering the telephone identifying the department and self to internal customers and correctly identifying facility name to external customers.
• Overhead paging including all emergency overhead paging according to proper procedure.
• Demonstrates that you pleasantly answer and accurately transfer all calls in a timely and confidential manner.
• Consistently monitors and timely and accurately responds to all alarms by following proper procedures.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year previous high volume telephone experience in a healthcare setting.
• One year previous customer service experience.
