BJC HealthCare is seeking a remote Regulatory Compliance Coordinator for our Healthcare Information Management team!
This individual must be degreed within HIM and able to work occasional evenings as needed. Typical hours are M-F 8-4 PM with flexibility.

Role Purpose
Accountable for the regulatory efforts owned by the Health Information Management department. Responsible for reviewing, auditing, and reporting of the specified Joint Commission Standards as well as the associated Conditions of Participation and State Regulations. Assists with Corporate Compliance responsibilities such as HIPAA, RAC and the Red Flag Rule. Responsible for HIM Department auditing, data collection and other assignment as delegated.
Responsibilities
Monitors regulatory and corporate compliance.
Provides annual training to Health Information Management department.
Assist in and coordinates privacy investigations.
Provides audits as required to assess and support compliance as well as works with other department when their assistance is required to report information to support assigned standards.
