We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: This role is for a Per Diem Pharmacy Tech so you will be working on an as needed basis only. Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday, no nights, or weekends; will be working an 8-hr shift between the hours of 8am – 6pm.

Location: 701 SHADOW LANE STE 110 LAS VEGAS, NV 89106 (home site)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a per diem pharmacy tech role so you will be working on an as needed basis only; will be covering 4 sites (all within a 15-20 minute radius) in the Las Vegas area and must have weekly availability

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada
• Access to reliable transportation
• Must have weekly availability to provide coverage at 4 sites in the Las Vegas area (all within a 15-20 minute radius)

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification 
• 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
