The role you’ll contribute:
The 340B Business Analyst (I) provides comprehensive analytical support to the 340B Pharmacy Team and to the 340B Covered Entities. The 340B Business Analyst (I) will work with the 340B Coordinators to ensure they have updated and timely data for auditing and decision-making purposes. The analyst provides timely analyses, reviews data for accuracy and/or anomalies, keeps data updated, monitors workflow to ensure data accuracy and integrity, displays technical competency working from various data sources and summarizes data succinctly for decision making. The 340B Business Analyst (I) is expected to actively demonstrate competency utilizing analytical tools and maintain relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Targeted scheduled auditing of dispenses, prescriptions, Medicaid billing, purchases and TPA set up
Data collection for external and internal audits and manufacturer inquiries
Data maintenance to include updating and organizing needed lists and data sets for compliance.
Work with various technology to identify savings and track savings findings
Identify prescriptions written to determine best contract and retail pharmacy matches and missed opportunities via the TPA
Compile reporting from all wholesalers, direct manufacturers to determine full amount of savings.
Review of weekly suspect match/ineligible match review of retail pharmacy to ensure pharmacy opportunity
Work with various technology to identify savings and track savings findings
Identify prescriptions written to determine best contract pharmacy matches and missed opportunities via the TPA
Compile reporting from all wholesalers, direct manufacturers to determine full amount of savings
Review and auditing of accurate contract pricing and determine best price is being utilized
Dashboard and Analytics including timely updates to the 340B Dashboard
Ad Hoc reports as requested by Coordinators and Covered Entity
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university or college or at least 2 years’ experience in a related field.
2-3 years’ experience working in pharmacy and/or data analytics
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Degree in healthcare, accounting, finance or related major
Pharmacy Technician experience
3-5 years’ experience working in pharmacy data analytics
Knowledge of the 340B program and technology used in the tracking of 340B virtual inventories (i.e. “splitting software”)
Hospital and Retail Pharmacy workflow and understanding
Database software knowledge (SQL)
Business Intelligence knowledge (PowerBI, QlikView, Tableau)
