Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Location: 501 Redmond Road, Rome, GA 30165
The role you’ll contribute:
- Performs all types of radiographic and cat scan procedures on in-patients and outpatients.
- Maintains competency in radiology and cat scan procedures performed on in-patients, outpatients, as well as emergency and operating room patients.
- Operates all radiographic diagnostic equipment including c-arm equipment.
- Performs routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed.
- Operates all cat scan equipment Transports patients, processes film, and prepares radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed.
- Reviews orders and reviews films for correct identification before submitting for a radiologists interpretation.
- Assists with clerical duties as needed. Participates in radiology and cat scan QI or Quality Improvement program
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Certification from an accredited school or program in radiologic technology.
- Successful graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology at a minimum.
- National certification by the ARRT
- A minimum of 12 hours of in-service or continuing education per year as well as any additional any hours needed to develop the core objectives and goals listed in this job description
