In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective program management practices, standards, and processes are established and maintained. Collaborating closely with OPHAC leadership, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining strategic enterprise-wide Population Health programs and portfolio management
Collaborating with department leads and executive leadership to allocate resources effectively across Population Health initiatives and programs
Defining and tracking key performance indicators to measure OPHAC’s Care Transformation performance and identify areas for improvement,
Preparing regular status reports for senior management
Identifying and mitigating program risks through the development of contingency plans and escalation projects, ensuring adherence to program management standards and quality controls
Implementing change management methodologies, and driving adoption of program management practices and tools
Streamlining existing programs, management processes, procedures, software/tools, and guidelines by integrating best practices to enhance efficiency and efficacy
This position will report to the Assistant Director of the Office of Population
Health and Accountable Care (OPHAC)’s Care Transformation function and must demonstrate strong managerial and leadership capabilities to guide administrative and professional staff, fostering a collaborative environment that drives program and project excellence.
Salary Range: $92,600.00-$202,200.00/annually
Qualifications
Required:
At least 5 years of relevant population health leadership and management experience
Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, or related field
Previous work experience in population health management and strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to be a team player, flexible and capable of working in an environment which is fast paced, progressive and requires entrepreneurial thinking and action
Experience in leading, facility, and implementing new programs
Skill to research and analyze information, problems, situation and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate conclusions
Excellent oral and communication skills to obtain and convey correct and complete information and concepts to individuals and groups in formal and Ability to make presentations to senior management
Excellent resolution skills to plan activities among individuals and groups in a wide variety of working relationships
Skill in negotiating, exchanging ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions or solutions
Prior experience supervising employees (as directed) including selection, training, work assignments and review, motivation, performance appraisal, career counseling and discipline
Working knowledge of clinical program planning, cash and accrual accounting, financial management control systems, financial analysis and management reporting, and the operation aspects of clinical programs in ambulatory teaching settings
Demonstrated skill (intermediate to advanced level) in the use of personal computers and software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, project management platforms, customer relationship management systems, database management, and analysis
Skill in working with complex organizations to comply with regulatory requirements.
Preferred:
Experience in managing the complete lifecycle of a program, including directly or indirectly leading cross-functional teams
