MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Valid New Mexico?s Driver?s License preferred.
SKILLS: Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
EXPERIENCE: None required.

-Responsible to: Department Manager and Lead Tech for Environmental Services

Areas include any and all patient care units, ancillary areas, support areas, public and office areas. Work for the most part is inside, however, outside work cleaning entry ways or windows does occur. Consistent exposure to cleaning chemicals is part of the requirement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: An individual performing this work can expect and be able to stoop, bend, stand and use gross motor skills for long periods. The person must be able to use a 16 to 24 ounce "wet" mop and push and pull carts and other equipment (furniture, mattresses, etc.). Ability to move around to all areas of the hospital.
