Pharmacy Clerk supports or leads those who are performing various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. Including any or all of the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures. May compound medications using appropriate components, supplies and sterile/ventilated environment. Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included. May also perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process, pack, & ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies & patient collateral (education materials) are included
Properly packs products as required by Standard Operating Procedures
Daily box preparation work
Bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed
Empty trash as needed and assembles shipping boxes
Maintain open communications regarding courier issues with supervisor
Runs ends of day report or Manifest report
May also perform drug/supply ordering & inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units
Create or fix shipping labels as needed
Replenish supplies in all areas throughout the day
Removes empty pallets from the floor and take It to its designated storage area
Fill out daily check list after each shift
Maintain induction responsibilities throughout the shift
Assist on maintaining supplies inventory

Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift 35 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to move boxes and other materials while bending and stretching
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience working in a warehouse, assembly line or line production environment
Pharmacy experience in any setting
New Jersey Residents Only: The hourly range for New Jersey residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
