Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children?s Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Position Highlights:
- The anesthesiologist will practice pediatric anesthesiology, to include NICU babies, and all ages of children up to the ages of 18. This will include major trauma, neuro-anesthesia, spines, and airway surgery. This will also include anesthesia for infants and children with repaired cardiac defects, if deemed appropriate by the attending of record.
- Temple Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed acute care adult hospital, with the NICU still attached. It is across a 2-lane highway from McLane Children's Hospital. The majority of NICU babies are anesthetized at Temple Memorial Hospital at this time. Other pediatric anesthesia sites are required, frequently, at Temple Memorial Hospital, and the selected individual will be expected to help with this coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
