The role you’ll contribute:
The 340B Coordinator acts as a liaison to the 340B Pharmacy Team and to the 340B Covered Entities and ensures all compliance needs are met. In addition, the 340B Coordinator will work with the 340B Analysts to ensure they have updated and timely data for auditing and decision-making purposes. The 340B Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the 340B program at the 340B Covered Entity is running compliantly, efficiently and has been evaluated for all current 340B savings opportunities. The 340B Coordinator is expected to actively demonstrate 340B competency and maintain relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Responsible for HRSA/OPAIS database maintenance as the primary contact for their assigned 340B Covered Entity including ensuring all new child sites, contract pharmacies are added/terminated as needed and the Covered Entity is prepared and completes recertification
Responsible to maintain a crosswalks of all eligible locations
Creates and maintains audit data for external and internal audit preparedness such as TPA dispense data, all purchase accounts, samples of invoices every six months, contracts and updates to contracts
Coordinates and schedules external auditors and create audit actions plans to ensure audit reports are addressed
Works with analysts to review all manufacturer inquiries and respond in a timely manner
Ensures Medicaid accuracy per 340B Covered Entity State Rules, reviews modifiers for Medicaid/ Medicare and works with billing to ensure AAC cost if necessary
Creates and ensures wholesale accounts are accurate and being set up properly
Ensures TPA’s have accurate location, billing and dispense information
Works with 340B Business Analysts to ensure appropriate auditing is being performed and follows up on issues as they occur
Maintains relationships with 340B Covered Entity contacts (Buyers, Pharmacy directors, Medical Staff, CFO, Finance, etc) and leads quarterly task force meetings with facilities
Maintains relationships with TPA, Contract Pharmacy and Wholesaler account representatives
Works with analysts and buyers to identify and resolve multiplier, cross-reference issues
Utilizes dashboard and technology to identify opportunities for facilities to achieve more 340B, GPO purchasing
Reviews WAC savings, WAC spend and 340B Penny purchasing and communicate opportunity to buyers
Works with 340B Business Analysts to identify best potential or current contract pharmacy opportunities and with manufacturers to ensure policies are being met
Leads implementation projects for their respective 340B Covered Entity

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university or college or at least 5 years’ experience in a related field.
2-3 years’ experience working in pharmacy and/or 340B
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Degree in healthcare, accounting, finance or related major
Pharmacy Technician experience
3-5 years’ experience working in 340B
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
340B ACE
