This position is located within the Textile Care Processing Facility of the Environmental Management Services Division within Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, Arkansas. This position is under the direct supervision of the Textile Care Manager or designee. This position performs the primary work involving receiving, sorting, and marking soiled textiles and apparel; processing flatwork and roughdry items; assembling carts for delivery. Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to stand and walk consistently, perform light to moderate bending and stooping, and able to wear PPE for extended period of time as dictated by the work setting.
