Under direct supervision of the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical Director, Radiologic Technologist with a limited license will observe and learn how to produce diagnostic images utilizing a variety of radiographic equipment. Fixed radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile equipment following prescribed protocols and procedures. Observing and Learning radiographic procedures on neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. Observe and Learn how to complete all studies in a timely and efficient manner. Observe and Learn how to produce film images utilizing Digital Computed Radiography, laser printers, image processors and process as prescribed standards. Duties include patient education prior to the examination; preparation of needed supplies and equipment set up; Observe and Learn how to assist in performing sterile technique procedures as required; follow established quality assurance procedures; maintain patient dignity and confidentiality; assist Radiologist as needed; perform related duties as requested. Radiologic Technologist with Limited Licenses need to possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position.
