The community you’ll be caring for:
·Located north of Orlando in the community of Altamonte Springs, our facility is consistently named “Best Hospital” for overall quality, reputation, doctors and nurses by local residents.

The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for direct and indirect preoperative patient care to the patient undergoing an endoscopy procedure. The endoscopy technician will at all times observe patient safety and maintain a safe environment for patient and staff. The endoscopy technician will maintain aseptic technique and be responsible for safe handling and cleaning of equipment.

· Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and supplies needed for specific endoscopy procedures.
· Knowledge of disinfection techniques for endoscopes.
· Functions as assistant during procedures.
· Knowledgeable in handling of specimens.
· Effective communication with patients and team members.
· Responds to emergency situations.
· Participates in cost containment.
· Maintains skills competencies.
· Maintains clean and orderly work environment.
· Coordinates daily technician assignments and technician call schedule.
· Assist with the training and orientation of newly hired technicians and others as needed and required documentation of training.
· Assist with the ordering of supplies and maintenance of equipment and documentation of repairs.
*Terms: 12 month Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

·Applicable experience required.
Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Must be proficient in the English language.
· Knowledge of sterile technique
· High school graduate
· Experience in ENDOSCOPY
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
· LPN, CNA/PCT or Scrub tech certification
