Cardiac Sonographer based in Kansas City, KS and can travel to other cities in Kansas, Iowa and Arkansas. Seeking a dedicated, detail oriented, organized individual who is comfortable performing echocardiography, is comfortable operating in different clinical environments, and can adapt to the procedures as needed.
Job Description:
Prepare exam room.
Explain method of examination and position patient.
Assess the patient's status and needs, complete appropriate diagnostic techniques/tests to ascertain patient's on-going condition and perform the necessary interventions.
Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered.
Ensure quality images.
Coordinate the preparation of images/exams and needed documentation for physician partners.
Monitor equipment reliability and safety.
Report issues and/or repairs or service due.
Actively participate in quality initiatives, including patient satisfaction, patient care, and workflow.
Represent Boone Heart Institute at our partner clinics with a professional, pleasant demeanor and a can-do attitude to support clinic staff as they care for their patient population.

Job Type: Part-time, 8-hour shift, 24-32 hours per week
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Associate's degree, preferred
Cardiac Sonographer credentials (ARDMS, CCI or equivalent)
Vascular registry, preferred
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
